Sweets also accommodate a status of pride fullness and prestige for the Bengalis. Sandesh, Rasogolla, Kalojam and various kinds of pithe are held high esteem by all sweet lovers of the whole country. Sweets like Langcha, Mihidana, Sitabhog of Bardhaman, Sharbhaja of Krishnanagar, Chanabora of Murshidabad are worthy to mention.
