Burdwan Udaychand Library
GENERAL INFORMATION:
This library is one of the oldest district libraries of West Bengal established in 1954-55 in the heart of the town with two storied building. The library was named after Maharajadhiraj Uday Chand Mahatab of Burdwan, who gifted a vast area of land, building with books and furniture belonged to Raj Public Library.The present library building was built with the financial assistance of the Govt. of West Bengal.
