About The Library
Baruipur Town Library was founded by the earnest effort of Sri Hemen Mazumdar, then MLA of Baruipur in 1981.The Ground floor (Rabindra Kaksha ) was built in 1981 and the 1st Floor ( Vidyasagar Patha Kaksha ) was built in 2008 with the assistance of MPLAD of Dr. Sujan Chakraborty, South 24 Parganas Zilla parisad, ONGC(Kolkata) and local donors on 900 sq.ft. land leased by Baruipur Municipality.
